2023

On December 11, 2023 RIBA members were invited to join a Zoom meeting that reviewed the upcoming changes to new land use laws that will become effective January 1, 2024.  The presentation gave an overview of what to know, what to watch for, and what the permitting process will look like for different projects.  It also addressed the changes to zoning standards and provisions affecting substandard lots and merger of lots. Click here to view the Zoom meeting.

RIBA also has accompanying documents. Click here for a copy of the summary of changes to land use acts as a result of 2023 Legislative Session. Click here for a link to the templates and summaries from the state.
