RI Home Show

We’re Thinking Green
at our annual Home Show at the RI Convention Center – March 12-16, 2008.

From energy-saving building trends to redesigning your home with furnishings you already own, the Home Show will be packed with THINK GREEN seminars, products, services, and know-how.

The popular, five-day Home Show is thinking green in its own way with an eco-friendly billboard to go up on I-95. The Eco-Flexx™ billboard is new and made of a recyclable plastic. At the Home Show, attendees will be given recycled paper bags instead of traditional plastic bags. Show organizers will highlight the latest green products and services that will be available at the Home Show so they will be easy for people to find. Experts will give seminars about green building and remodeling trends.

“We wanted to show that you don’t need to build a new house to use green technology. There are plenty of energy-saving and resource-saving improvements people can make to their existing homes that are good for the environment and save homeowners money,” said Roger Warren, executive director of Rhode Island Builders Association, the non-profit trade organization that owns and operates the Home Show.

An exciting schedule of events is being planned (speakers, demonstrations, special appearances, fund-raisers and raffle prizes). Watch for details at ribahomeshow.com
